Although the course is designed for yoga students to develop all the skills and growth they need to teach or bring their training into a current career, it’s also ideal for those who are looking to immerse themselves in their yoga practice and take time for reflective personal development.
What You Will Learn:
the study of yoga history and philosophy and how to take it off the mat
how to sequence and plan inspirational and fun classes effectively
how to inspire others through your practice and teaching
principles of anatomy/physiology and how to apply them in a yoga class
alignment, benefits & contraindications
the art of bbservation, modifications and adjustments
how to use props to improve safety as well as increase strength and flexibility
intro to ayurveda, meditation, pranayama, special population yoga and chakras
the business of yoga - how to market yourself and build a following
Our 200 hour teacher training is a transformational experience in which you will gain a deeper understanding of all things yoga while becoming a part of a likeminded community.
For those who want to teach, this is the beginning of a successful career as a yoga teacher!
Graduates will be able to register with Yoga Alliance at the RYT-200 Level.
